Project overview

Fleet management platform

Designing complex operational software across cards, transactions, account administration and shared platform patterns.

Multi-year product programme

The fleet platform brings together operational tasks that are individually complex and closely connected. My work focused on helping people move through those tasks with less ambiguity while establishing patterns that could scale across the wider product.

Rather than presenting the programme as one long case study, this overview provides the context and links to focused stories about distinct decisions.

Additional contributions

PIN visibility controls

Administrators needed quick access to sensitive card information without weakening security expectations.

Decision: Used explicit reveal states and permission-aware controls rather than displaying sensitive data by default.

Permission-limited actions

Some users could understand an account issue but did not have authority to resolve it.

Decision: Explained why actions were unavailable and provided a clear escalation path.

Responsive operational tables

Dense transaction information became difficult to scan on narrower screens.

Decision: Prioritised decision-critical fields and revealed secondary detail progressively.
